Kieran Trippier starred in Tottenham’s 3-1 win over Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Danny Gabbidon reckons Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier is the best crosser of the ball in the Premier League after an excellent showing on Wednesday night against Real Madrid.
Trippier, 27, helped Spurs break the deadlock by latching on to an inch-perfect Harry Winks pass that caught Marcelo out of position to fire a low ball across the Madrid six-yard box, where Dele Alli pounced.

His overall performance on the night was crucial in helping Spurs qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League, as they earned a 3-1 win over Zinedine Zidane’s side at Wembley.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, former West Ham and Wales defender Gabbidon claimed that Trippier is better than the likes of Christian Eriksen, Kevin De Bruyne and Mesut Ozil at crossing the ball.

Spurs gained their third win in four Champions League outings this season after Alli scored his second just after half-time before playmaker Eriksen found the net himself. Cristiano Ronaldo managed a late consolation for the Galacticos.
With the job done in the Champions League, Spurs must now return to league duties ahead of Sunday’s clash against Crystal Palace in a must-win game if they are to keep the pressure on both Manchester clubs.
