Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was the hero in midweek with an impressive winner against Red Bull Salzburg.

He found it a little tougher to make an impact against Leicester at the weekend, in a game the Reds won 2-1.

His performance was criticised by former Premier League defender Danny Gabbidon, who said that he feels the Egyptian is letting down his team.

Gabbidon argues that Salah is too careless in possession and puts his teammates under unnecessary pressure.

Salah normally performs to such a high standard that any slight faults in his game are picked up on and scrutinised.

Against Leicester he did only complete 75 per cent of his passes, but this is because he likes to take risks and try to create chances.

He did manage to create three chances, while he was fouled four times, more than any Reds player.

There is always a case for players to try and improve, but Salah has six goals and three assists already this season.
