Gary Neville has said on his podcast that Manchester United fans should stop thinking that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will leave anytime soon.

Neville made the comments while analysing the future of Klopp at Liverpool.

The former Manchester United star has said that the Old Trafford faithful should not take any notice that Klopp is about to finish his seventh year in charge of Liverpool.

Klopp was appointed the Liverpool manager in October 2015.

The German boss was the manager of Mainz for seven years and was also in charge of Borussia Dortmund for seven years.

Gary Neville on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool future

Neville said on his podcast: “Jurgen Klopp is an absolute phenomenon, but I think to myself where would Jurgen Klopp go now that you think would be better for him than Liverpool Football Club in the way in which the Premier League is dominating?

“He has played in Champions League finals, he is competing against the other best managers in the world that are here at the moment. So, at the moment, I don’t believe that’s fair, I don’t believe that’s right.”

Neville continued: “It looks like he is enjoying there too much to me, he enjoys the football, he enjoys the league, I think he enjoys Liverpool fans, and it would be wishful thinking of Manchester United fans to think that Jurgen Klopp was leaving, and I don’t think that’s the case.”

Staying at Anfield

In our view, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will not leave Anfield anytime soon.

Manchester United and Liverpool fans are bitter rivals, and the Old Trafford faithful would love to see Klopp leave Anfield and the Reds go downhill in terms of success.

However, that is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Klopp is enjoying himself at Liverpool, who have one of the best squads in the world and could end up winning the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League this season.
