Gary Neville has said on his podcast that Arsenal star Granit Xhaka and Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes “were chasing down Paul Tierney” for most of the Premier League game between the two sides at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Neville has noted that Arsenal midfielder Xhaka and Manchester United attacking midfielder Fernandes were very vocal when it came to referee Paul Tierney making decisions that went against their respective sides.
The former United star was co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports.
The Sky Sports pundit made the note while discussing the pressure that match officials and VAR are under these days.
Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
As for the Gunners, Mikel Arteta’s side have now lost their 100% record in the league this season.
