Blackpool fans praised Arsenal loanee Daniel Ballard after he bagged his first football league goal on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old is on-loan at the League One side and the rising Arsenal star helped them to a 1-1 draw against Crewe.
Ballard opened the scoring yesterday following his header from a set-piece situation – his first goal in the Tangerine colours.
It’s fair to say a number of Blackpool fans were pretty pleased with the Arsenal academy product, who has helped them to seven points in his last three starts.
Blackpool are sitting just outside the top ten in League One, but they have games in hand and they will be hoping that helps them make a late surge into the play-offs.
Either way, their supporters are pleased with what they are seeing from Ballard.
Whilst other Arsenal loanee’s thrive in more warmer climates or on bigger stages, it seems as though one central defender is slowly doing his stuff in a smaller spotlight.
