The Mirror reported in October that Liverpool and Manchester United are showing an interest, with Tottenham’s name thrown in too.
The report claims Dortmund would want around £100 million for the England international.
This would rule Spurs out of the bidding, but it may not stop a club like Manchester United paying a record fee for him.
The Champions League draw has given Sancho’s future new significance for Spurs.
Sancho may be out of their price range, but if a rivals pays up for him in January, then Tottenham’s task in the Champions League will be easier.
