Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are reacting to Ryan Mason’s post on Instagram.

The former Spurs interim boss has uploaded a photo of himself taking a training session at Hotspur Way.

Once it was confirmed that Mason wouldn’t be getting the Tottenham job on a long-term basis, he dropped back down to work with the next generation of Lilywhites stars in North London.

And here’s how some fans of the North London club reacted to his Instagram post:

Bright future

Mason definitely has a future as a top Premier League manager.

He became the youngest man in history to oversee a top-flight English game last season when, at the age of 29, he was the Lilywhites’ interim coach.

And to be fair, he didn’t do a bad job.

By the time his role had ended, Mason had a win record of 66.67 percent, which is still higher than Nuno Espirito Santo despite the Portuguese only managing two games more in the Premier League.

But some Tottenham fans are still upset with his decision to bench Tanguy Ndombele for Harry Winks in their League Cup final defeat by Manchester City back in April – Mason’s second game.

That being said, it’s impossible for managers of that age to not make mistakes, particularly on a stage like this, against Pep Guardiola’s side.

One thing for sure, he certainly has a lot to offer and it’ll be exciting to see how he develops over the coming years.
