Rangers could only draw 0-0 with Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
Rangers’ patchy form under Pedro Caixinha continued on Saturday afternoon as they could only muster a 0-0 draw against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox.
The Gers had beaten Motherwell on the opening day of the season before a 3-2 home defeat to Hibernian last weekend, and Caixinha needed a victory on Saturday afternoon to silence some of his doubters.

However, Rangers couldn’t find the win they were looking for, as Hearts caretaker Jon Daly returned to his former club to snatch a point and a clean sheet in a battling display.
Rangers did have their chances; Bruno Alves had a header bundled off the line, Kenny Miller couldn’t make the most of a couple of openings, and Alfredo Morelos had a goal ruled out for offside.
Rangers fans are largely frustrated with Caixinha and his team for their start to the season, but supporters did find one positive from the display against Hearts – the performance of midfielder Ryan Jack.
A summer signing from Aberdeen, Jack has already become a key player in the heart of the Rangers midfield, and he was only available for the game against Hearts having had his red card against Hibernian overturned.

Jack, 25, earned huge praise from Rangers fans after the final whistle at Ibrox, with many praising him as the only player to come out of the game with any credit.
The midfielder was even touted as a future Rangers captain due to his passion and commitment, with fans raving about his performances early into his Gers career.
