Liverpool star Roberto Firmino was pictured post-match last night with Atletico Madrid talent Joao Felix. And supporters on social media loved it.

The duo were snapped together after Liverpool’s 3-2 win against the La Liga champions in the UEFA Champions League. A Mohamed Salah penalty decided a thrilling encounter in Madrid.

Firmino didn’t get his name on the scoresheet, but the striker played a role in Atletico going down to ten men. The Brazilian was booted in the face by Antoine Griezmann, who saw red for his challenge.

Yet despite the high boot, Firmino was able to carry on as the Reds secured a huge result over Atletico. Indeed, it was one of the most entertaining matches of the evening.

And it looked like Firmino was making friends post-match, with the £29m Liverpool star caught having a conversation with Atletico star Felix. The attacker was in superb form for the hosts.

The club-record signing from Benfica caused Liverpool problems all night. And his performance was one that caught the eye of many supporters on social media.
