Mark Viduka told the Football Show on Sky Sports on Tuesday that it’s a ‘funny situation’ up in Glasgow between Celtic and Rangers.
The former Bhoys hitman stated that it’s ‘not a nice place to be’ if you are on the losing end of the titanic tussle between Celtic and Rangers.
And, at this moment in time, it’s Celtic on the wrong end after Steven Gerrard helped the Gers stop the ten this season.
Viduka is fully aware of what the heat is like in the Old Firm kitchen, as he was asked to share his thoughts on Rangers stopping Celtic’s ten charge.
“It’s a bit of a funny situation up there,” said Viduka. “You have got Celtic and Rangers who are just going for the title every year.
“If you are on the losing end of that ten, or whatever those two, it’s not a nice place to be.
“Of course, Celtic and Rangers fans are passionate about their clubs. And they expect to win.”
All eyes will now be on Celtic and who they appoint as their next boss, from an Eddie Howe being mentioned to a Roy Keane.
Whoever, the individual, they have to get it right because a repeat of this season could spell disaster for the long run.
And it will be interesting to see if Celtic do push for that powerhouse name given one is stood in the Ibrox dugout.
