Liverpool will have to pay Derby County £100,000 should 16-year-old winger Kaide Gordon make his debut tonight for the Reds.
According to the Telegraph, the Merseyside giants will have to pay the cash-stricken Championship side a hefty sum if the teenage attacker plays against Norwich City this evening.
Gordon joined Liverpool from Derby in February, with the forward already making his professional debut for the Rams under Wayne Rooney before moving to Anfield.
The teenager is regarded as one of the best youngsters in England and a talent who has impressed the likes of Rooney and Liverpool assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders.
Moreover, with Liverpool expected to make wholesale changes this evening against the Canaries, Gordon is in line to make his first-team debut for the Premier League giants.
As per the Guardian, 18-year-old midfielder Conor Bradley is another youngster who could start for Liverpool this evening. However, fans on social media believe that Gordon could fail to step onto the pitch.

This is because supporters jokingly believe that FSG won’t want to pay Derby the £100,000 they are owed if Gordon makes his debut for Liverpool tonight.
