Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has agreed a move to Porto, according to a report in Portugal.

According to Antena1, a deal has been agreed for El Bufalo to leave Ibrox after four years with the Light Blues that saw him become Rangers’ all-time record European goalscorer.

The Colombian has scored 23 times in the Europa League for the Gers, overtaking Ally McCoist as he cemented his place as a massive favourite of the Rangers fans.

After joining the Gers for £1million four years ago, reports last week suggested the Ibrox side were looking for £10million to sell Morelos however Rangers have previously said they would be looking for more than double that amount.

Rangers exit will be sore for fans who have taken El Bufalo to their hearts

94 goals and 43 assists in a fantastic return from the striker and if he does end up leaving Ibrox, he’ll surely go with the best wishes of fans after a fantastic stint in Glasgow.

Despite that, his exit will be a massive blow to the supporters who have come to idolise the one-time polarising figure.

Porto are in the market after Moussa Marega’s exit while Rangers have already bolstered their striking options with the pre-contract signing of Fashion Sakala.

With Morelos currently at Copa America representing Colombia, it may take a little bit of time before a deal is completed – if an agreement has been reached – but there is a certain inevitability now around Morelos’ Ibrox exit.
