Fulham’s Danish midfielder Lasse Vigen Christensen is reportedly on the radar of Celtic, Sheffield United and Birmingham City.

While Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha aims to revive the Ibrox giants with up to 12 new faces, it appears that Celtic counterpart Brendan Rodgers will be aiming to nip and tuck his side rather than resort to a dramatic makeover.
And, according to the Daily Mail, technically gifted Fulham midfielder Lasse Vigen Christensen is one of the players Rodgers has headhunted to maintain Celtic’s domestic dominance for a seventh straight season.
The Danish youth international may be yet to fulfil the dazzling potential that had scouts flocking to Craven Cottage in his younger days but, at the age of 22, time is very much on his side. And few managers are better at turning potential into consistent talent than Rodgers.
After all, Scott Sinclair has been revitalised at Celtic since arriving in a rut from Aston Villa. And talented yet inconsistent players like Tom Rogic, Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong have already taken their games to new levels under Rodgers.

If Christensen wants to live up to that early promise, a place in Rodgers’ esteemed finishing school would be a step in the right direction.
Potentially Great Dane
Furthermore, it appears that his hopes of luring Christensen to Parkhead have been handed a major boost.
Because West London Sport reports that Burton Albion, who Christensen joined on loan in January, are not interested in tying him down to a permanent contract. This is despite the fact that he largely impressed during his 16 appearances for The Brewers, helping secure their Championship status for a second season.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Sheffield United and Birmingham City may be tempted to make a move for the dynamic all-rounder as they aim to add more precision and class to their midfields.
Yet, with Burton ruling themselves out, it will be little surprise if Christensen becomes Celtic’s first summer deal.
