If Southampton sack Mauricio Pellegrino would Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic or Graham Potter of Ostersunds be the best option?

The Saints are just one point outside the drop zone and view either Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic or Ostersunds boss Graham Potter as the ideal replacement for Pellegrino.

Who would be best?
Potter has risen to prominence this season as the only English coach left in European football after guiding his Swedish team to the last-32 of the Europa League – where they were eliminated by Arsenal.
The 42-year-old has taken Ostersunds from the fourth tier to the top flight and won their first major trophy last campaign, but still represents something of a risk having never managed in his native England.

That is not the case with Jokanovic, who got Watford promoted from the Championship in 2015 and guided the Cottagers to the play-offs last term and a current fourth-placed spot this time around.
The Serbian has been praised for the attacking flair his sides show and in truth the 49-year-old looks the better prepared for life in the top tier of English football and bringing excitement back to St Mary’s.
