Fulham attacker George Williams has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Dele Alli on his move to Tottenham Hotspur.
England Under-19 international midfielder Alli joined North London outfit Tottenham from Milton Keynes Dons on transfer deadline day, as confirmed by the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old, though, has been loaned back to MK Dons for the rest of the season and will continue his development in League One.
Williams, who played with Alli at MK Dons, is delighted for him and is impressed with his move to Tottenham.
It is indeed a great feat to make the leap from a League One team to a top-four chasing Premier League outfit.
And Alli deserves it.
The youngster has been in impressive form for the past two seasons or so and has earned a strong reputation in England.
Technically very good with an eye for goal, Alli does appear to be a very good signing who is destined for greater things in the future.
