Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah will not play against Fulham at Craven Cottage in London in the Premier League this weekend, according to The London Evening Standard.
Arsenal to be without Eddie Nketiah v Fulham
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will take on Marco Silva’s Fulham in the London derby on Sunday.
The match will be held at Craven Cottage and is scheduled to kick off at 2pm UK time.
The London Evening Standard have reported that Arsenal will be without striker Nketiah.
The 23-year-old, described as “fantastic” by Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers on the club’s official website last month, has an ankle injury and will not play, according to the report.
Blow for Eddie Nketiah
Now, Arsenal would be able to cope without Eddie Nketiah against Fulham.
After all, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shown that he can use wide players, such as Gabriel Martinelli, down the middle.

It will be a blow for Nketiah, though.
The 23-year-old was getting a run of games in the absence of Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus should be ready to play for Arsenal again soon, which means that when Nketiah does recover from his injury, he will become a squad player.
Again.
