- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that a deal is in place for Fulham defender Tim Ream to leave the club.
Terms have been agreed for the 36-year-old United States international to complete a move to MLS side Charlotte FC this summer.
Tim Ream spent nine years at Craven Cottage but he is now set to return to his homeland for the final years of his career.
HITC can confirm that Ream is currently en route to undergo a medical before finalising the deal.
Ream started his career in the United States with New York Red Bulls before completing a move to England to join Bolton Wanderers in 2012 and then Fulham in 2015.
He has become a fan favourite with the Cottagers and was hailed as “unbelievable” by Fulham boss Marco Silva.

Fulham set their sights on new defender signing
Fulham have been busy this summer with three signings already confirmed by the London outfit.
The headline signing has been Emile Smith Rowe, who joined Fulham in a £35million deal last week.
They have also strengthened their defence with the signing of Jorge Cuenca from Villarreal for £6.7million.

However, HITC sources have confirmed that Fulham are still in the market for another defender after losing Ream and Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea this summer.
Cuenca is believed to be the replacement for Adarabioyo, but Ream’s move to Charlotte leaves Fulham short of options at centre-back.
Fulham are set to kick off their Premier League campaign away to Manchester United next Friday.
They wrap up their pre-season preparations with a friendly clash against Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon.
