Fulham’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has been linked with a move to Spain.

According to a report in the Evening Standard, Fulham flop Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is in talks over a move to Spanish side Villarreal.
The report claims the deal for the 23-year-old is a season-long loan move with a view to a permanent transfer next summer.
Anguissa joined Fulham last summer for a reported £22 million fee. There were high hopes for the former Marseille man following his impressive form for the French giants.
Fulham’s heavy spending and huge influx of players, however, didn’t help the midfielder’s cause at Craven Cottage and he soon found himself struggling for minutes.
Scott Parker’s stint as caretaker boss towards the end of the campaign saw Anguissa restored to the first team, but in total he only made 16 Premier League starts all season.
The Cameroon international has been a costly arrival for Fulham, and their gamble in spending big on Premier League survival now leaves them in a delicate situation back in the Championship.

According to Spotrac, Anguissa is Fulham’s second highest earner on £67,000 per week. The Whites seemingly can’t afford him in the Championship, yet they stand little chance of fully recouping the fee paid for him.
Anguissa has yet to report back for pre-season after being involved with Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations, and reports of Villarreal’s move suggests he may have already played his last game for the club.
