Fulham and Southampton feature highly in the betting to become the Arsenal striker’s next club.

Fulham have been installed as joint-favourites to sign Danny Welbeck this summer, with Southampton among the other main contenders after Bet Victor opened a market on the Arsenal striker’s next club.
Welbeck is being tipped to depart the Emirates Stadium, where he recently entered the final 12 months of his contract – four years after his £18 million move from Manchester United.
Everton and Newcastle United have already been credited with interest in the England international, and the pair unsurprisingly feature prominently in the betting – at 4/1 and 6/1 respectively.
But a trio of yet-to-be-linked clubs, in Fulham (4/1), Southampton and Watford (both 6/1), are also in the mix, according to Bet Victor.

All three are said to be in the market for strikers, with Fulham continuing to target Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic, Southampton chasing Liverpool’s Danny Ings and Watford looking at Burnley’s Sam Vokes, according to reports this summer.
The chance to remain in the London area could appeal to Welbeck, however, in which case Fulham and Watford – whose training facility neighbours that of Arsenal – could have the edge on Everton, Newcastle and Southampton.
