Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly hoping to sign Kebano on loan from Fulham.

Fulham fans are reacting to reports liking Neeskens Kebano with a move to Sheffield Wednesday.

According to the Sheffield Star, Wednesday are in talks to sign the DR Congo international on loan from the Premier League side.

Some Owls fans will already be familiar with Kebano, who scored twice at a packed-out Hillsborough on the 2016-17 season’s final day.

But what do those who have watched him the closest over the past two-and-a-half years make of the £3.8 million former Paris Saint-Germain player?

This is the view from Fulham on Twitter…

When asked about his side’s interest in Kebano at a press conference earlier on Friday, the Sheffield Wednesday assistant, Steve Agnew, failed to give too much away.

He did, however, add that a player with the 26-year-old’s attributes would be a welcome addition to the squad at Hillsborough.

“The one thing I would say is that for a team to attack and hurt the opposition and create more chances then yeah, I think any pace in any team frightens defenders,” he explained via the club’s official website.

“If there is an injection of pace somewhere in the team at some point then I’m sure it will make us a better team.”

Kebano has only played five times for Fulham this season and would be cup-tied for Sheffield Wednesday’s trip to Chelsea next week, should he sign for the Owls.
