Fulham came from behind to rescue a point against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground last night.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic
Nicklas Bendtner scored his first Nottingham Forest goal, but it wasn’t enough to win the game as Tom Cairney equalised earning Fulham a well-deserved draw.
Bendtner almost put the hosts in front in the first-half with a 25-yard strike, but scored his first goal in English football in over two years just after the break. Cairney levelled for the visitors just 12 minutes later.
The result leaves Forest five games and Fulham six without a league win. Both sides pushed for a winner but neither got the break. Poor finishing from Fulham and Forest resulted in a point for both teams.
Nicklas Bendtner opened the scoreline for Forest
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic made five changes to his Xl, with Forest making six; both sides took action in order to try and end their spell of winless results.
With both teams failing to secure a win, Jokanovic and Forest boss Philippe Montanier will be under pressure to end their bad run of games.
With ten league games played, Fulham currently sit 12th and Forest 15th. The Cottagers will host QPR on Saturday – another team desperate for a win after five league games without victory.
