In a game that saw two Fulham penalties saved, QPR managed to hold on to a 2-1 lead in what was a dramatic final few minutes in the West London derby.
Fulham were awarded a spot kick in the last minute but failed to get the equaliser as Sone Aluko hit the post. Tom Cairney also saw another pen saved by QPR keeper Alex Smithies.
A deflected shot by Conor Washington put QPR ahead in the first-half, with Tim Ream equalising just after the break for Fulham. A late Idrissa Sylla header was enough to give QPR the three points. That goal went in shortly before Aluko’s penalty miss after a foul on Jozabed Sanchez Ruiz.

Joazabed also hit the bar with a free kick in stoppage time, in what was a game that didn’t fail to entertain. Fulham were unlucky not to get anything out of the match. Slavisa Jokanovic’s side undeservedly saw their winless run now extend to seven matches in all competitions.
The victory for QPR is manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first win in six league games. The defeat for Fulham means that the Cottagers are now down to 14th, with QPR moving just ahead of their rivals in 13th.
