The former Everton manager Sam Allardyce is already being courted by a section of the Fulham fanbase, amid the speculation surrounding Slavisa Jokanovic’s future at Craven Cottage.
Reports this week suggested Jokanovic has two games left to save his job, after Fulham slipped into the Premier League’s bottom three at the weekend.
And while various names, ranging from Antonio Conte to Roy Hodgson, have been mentioned as possible replacements, it is that of Allardyce, who was sacked by Everton at the end of last season, that appears to be getting the most traction.

Allardyce led Everton from 13th to eighth during a six-month spell on Merseyside, although the former England manager’s direct playing style won him few admirers there.
Allardyce has also managed Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Sunderland and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, without having suffered a single relegation.
