Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte have reported that Fulham are set not to give on their pursuit for Fluminense midfielder Andre, with plans to sign him in the summer.
While Marco Silva’s side already brought in Saka Lukic on deadline day as a backup to Joao Palhinha, it seems the club are not ready to pass up on the chance to sign the 21-year-old.
A brand-new report now details that Fulham will make yet another attempt to sign Andre from Fluminense in the summer.
Fulham will try signing Andre from Fluminense in the summer
As reported by Globe Esporte, while clubs in Spain, France, Portugal and the Netherlands are also interested in signing the youngster, the West London side remain the ‘most interested team.’
In January, Fulham had offered Fluminense a £17.7 million fee for Andre, which was rejected as the club deemed him ‘not for sale’, but they remain interested in wrapping up a summer deal.

The high-flying 7th placed side in the Premier League also believe that Financial Fair Play (FFP) would not be stopped from making ‘big investments’ by the summer.
The asking fee remains unknown but one can safely guess that it all depends on how the player performs until the end of the season.
Fulham are buying from the very source, which is the way to go
From Bernd Leno to Willian, transfers that were initially looked down upon have been brilliant for the London-based outfit.
And while some may mock Fulham targeting Andre from Fluminense in the summer as he remains a relatively unknown commodity, his potential arrival may prove to an incredible bargain.
As Arsenal and Man City have proven by signing Gabriel Martinelli and Julian Alvarez respectively for reasonable fees straight from South American teams, it is much smarter to sign talents at lower prices from where they have developed rather than forking out record-breaking amounts down the line.
