The Newcastle-owned hitman spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham and played a big role in helping the Cottagers win Premier League promotion.
He joined the Championship side after falling out of favour under Magpies boss Rafael Benitez, and Slavisa Jokanovic has been quoted £20 million to buy him outright off Newcastle.
