West Ham United may not have added any new names to their squad before the transfer deadline but there are a few surprises among the current crop.
Hammers fans are not happy at the moment having watched Slaven Bilic’s side lose their opening three Premier League games to prop up the table with a minus eight goal difference.
They were frustrated further by the club’s inactivity in the transfer market before the window slammed shut last week, particularly in light of their dreadful start to the campaign.
Bilic is under intense pressure and co-owner David Sullivan even claimed on the club’s official website that the Croatian turned down big names like Renato Sanches.
Perhaps that was because he has enough big names in his squad already… literally.
West Ham’s full squad list has been published on the Premier League’s website and it reveals the full names of their first team stars.
Some of them are as unusual as they come and could even spawn some new nicknames for the quick-witted Hammers faithful.
