Celtic did extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but did not manage to bag the win.
Olivier Ntcham has taken to Twitter to react to Celtic’s goalless draw against Motherwell on Sunday that sees Brendan Rodgers’ side extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to 10 points.
The Hoops went into the game against Well off the back of four consecutive wins that included victories over Aberdeen and Rangers to help quash any talk of a potential title race being on the cards.
Rangers damaged their slim title hopes further on Saturday as they were beaten by Kilmarnock at Ibrox, meaning that Celtic had the chance to go 12 points clear at the summit.
And while Bhoys fans would have expected a victory after Cedric Kipre was, once again, sent off against Celtic during the first-half, Well defended incredibly well to keep Rodgers’ men at bay and ensure that the points would be shared.
Celtic had their chances to win but were unable to make the most of their dominance and thus, had to settle for a point that still allowed them to extend their lead at the top of the table.
After the game, Ntcham suggested that it was a frustrating afternoon for the Hoops, while he also very graciously praised their opponents for the way that they managed to keep the champions from finding the back of the net.
