Speaking on his YouTube channel, Goal journalist Charles Watts has shared what he knows about Manuel Locatelli amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The London outfit are seemingly keen on bringing the Italian to north London this summer, but the sad reality is that they’re not winning the race for his signature.

Watts shared what he’s been hearing about Locatelli.
“They’re very much in the running, but they’re lagging behind Juventus, and the expectation, certainly from people I speak to, our Juventus reporter at Goal, Romeo Agresti, who is bang on it with Juventus over there, he’s convinced it’s only a matter of time before Locatelli does sign for Juventus, and that seems to be the general feeling across Italy, so even though there is interest there, Arsenal may have to look elsewhere,” Watts said.

It’s a shame to hear that Locatelli may be headed to Juventus rather than Arsenal.
The midfielder looks to be a perfect fit for the Premier League, but we may not get the chance to see him strut his stuff in England’s top-flight.
The Gunners certainly need a new midfielder, and with Granit Xhaka seemingly on his way out of the club, Locatelli could have been the perfect replacement.
However, you can never say never in the transfer window, and with Arsenal in the running, it’s not over until he’s signed his contract with Juventus.
