The Tottenham Hotspur ace has been in fine form this season.

Tottenham signed Erik Lamela from Roma in the summer of 2013, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £27 million, but he initially struggled to establish himself in north London.
During his first couple of years in England, the Argentine wasn’t strong enough to cope with the robust nature of the Premier League, and he failed to have any kind of significant impact for Spurs.
The 26-year-old then suffered an injury in October 2016, and did not return to action for Tottenham until November 2017.
Lamela was slowly nursed back to full fitness by Mauricio Pochettino, and he now seems to be at the very peak of his physically powers.
The Argentina international has been in sensational form for Spurs this season, chalking up six goals and two assists in 13 appearances in all competitions, and he is now arguably one of the first names on Poch’s team-sheet.

That is quite the turnaround for someone who was classed as being nothing more than an expensive flop just six months ago.
Tottenham currently sit in fourth spot in the table, five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, and if they are to have any chance whatsoever of toppling Pep Guardiola’s side, Lamela will have to be at his very best between now and the end of the season.
