Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has been discussing Heung-Min Son and some recent rumours linking him with a move away from Tottenham.
There have been some stories – albeit from questionable sources, about Son potentially moving to Liverpool in the coming months, and while Gold says that the Reds have indeed been interested in Son in recent times, Spurs have no intention of letting the player go.
Indeed, the journalist says that whenever he even brings up the idea of Son leaving Spurs to anyone within the club he’s laughed at and told that the player is very happy in north London.

Son won’t leave
Gold shared what he’s been told about Son and his future.
“From everything I’m being told from everyone within the club, they’re just kind of laughing when there is a link to Sonny, because I’m constantly being told that he’s very happy. He only signed a new contract last summer and the club have absolutely zero intention of selling Sonny anywhere,” Gold said.
Unsellable
Tottenham are right to laugh off any rumours of Son leaving the club, he’s genuinely a player they have to describe as ‘unsellable’.
Granted, the South Korean isn’t having the best of seasons at the moment, but he’s proven over more than half a decade that he’s one of the very best players in the Premier League.
Spurs are a team, more than any of the other big six sides, that rely on their star men – Son and Harry Kane, and if they were to sell either player, they could potentially plummet down the Premier League table.
Son isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and Spurs are absolutely taking the right stance on this.
