Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Southampton at the weekend.
Tottenham hammered Southampton 5-2 away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Son Heung-min scored four goals, while Harry Kane added a fifth, as Spurs picked up all three points from the encounter with ease.
England international striker Kane actually provided the assists for all of Son’s goals.
Gareth Bale has joined Tottenham on loan from Real Madrid, but the Wales international winger is not ready yet.
Former Tottenham star Roberts has praised Kane, and he believes that it is “frightening” thinking of the England international, Bale and Son all playing together.
Exciting
One suspects that Tottenham fans will agree with Roberts’s claim, as Bale, Kane and Son playing together will be very difficult for opposition defenders.
All three players are superb footballers, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful can expect Jose Mourinho’s side to score a lot of goals as the season progresses.
Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
