Tottenham Hotspur will allow Dele Alli to leave in the January transfer window, but head coach Jose Mourinho wants Harry Winks to stay, according to a report published in The Telegraph this evening (5:06pm).
It has been reported that Alli will be granted a move away from Spurs when the transfer window opens in January out of respect for his service to the club.
The North London outfit will consider a six-month loan deal with a view to selling him at the end of the season, according to the report.
The report has also claimed that Tottenham head coach Mourinho wants to keep England international midfielder Winks.
Struggling for playing time
Alli and Winks are very good midfielders who are England internationals, but the two 24-year-old players have been struggling for playing time this season.
According to WhoScored, Alli has made one start and one substitute appearance in the Premier League and has scored one goal and provided one assist in four Europa League games.
Winks has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League and has scored one goal in five Europa League matches, according to WhoScored.
