Arsenal are ready to make another offer for Houssem Aouar after their initial bid for the Lyon midfielder was turned down, according to Football.London.

It has been reported that the Gunners had an offer of £32 million for the French midfielder rejected by Lyon.

The Premier League club are now ready to increase their offer to £36 million and a further £9 million in potential add-ons for the 22-year-old midfielder, according to the report published this evening (5pm, September 26, 2020).

Not giving up

It seems that Arsenal are determined to sign Aouar this summer, and it must be great for the fans.

The 22-year-old is a very good and promising player who has extensive experience of playing in Ligue 1 and in European competitions.

The midfielder would be a very good signing for the Gunners, not just for now, but for years to come as well.

Aouar would be able to make an immediate impact at the Emirates Stadium and would make Mikel Arteta’s side stronger in the middle of the park.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the Frenchman scored three goals and provided four assists in 25 league matches, and scored one goal and provided four assists in eight Champions League games, according to WhoScored.
