As İlkay Gündoğan laid on the turf following Idrissa Gueye’s shocking tackle, the Algerian was seen mocking Mitchel Bakker.

We felt the 20-year-old had a good game, but he will presumably have felt 10cm tall after Mahrez’s taunting remark.
Nevertheless, it was a heated game which both sets of players were clearly desperate to win.
After Gueye almost broke Gündoğan’s leg, you can understand why tempers may have been raised in the heat of the moment.
It wasn’t a nice thing for Mahrez to say, although that is football.
