French report claims 25-year-old player on Everton’s shortlist, offer being prepared

According to Le10 Sport, Everton are interested in signing Denis Bouanga from Saint-Etienne in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the French news outlet that Bouanga is on the shortlist of players that Everton want this summer.

The Toffees are preparing an offer for the 25-year-old winger, who is rated at €15 million (£13.37 million) by his club Saint-Etienne, according to the report.

It has been further claimed that although Saint-Etienne have an offer of €12 million (£10.7 million) from Rennes for Bouanga, they are waiting for Everton to make a bid.

According to WhoScored, Bouanga made 23 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Saint-Etienne this season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in the process.

The Gabon international winger also made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Europa League for Saint-Etienne this campaign, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Bouanga made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Nimes, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Meanwhile, according to CalcioNapoli24, Everton are in pole position to sign central midfielder Allan in the summer transfer window, with Napoli asking for €40 million (£35.71 million) as transfer fee.
