Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen produced a superb display against Chelsea last night.
Former Spurs goalkeeper Brad Friedel gave his verdict on current Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, during an exclusive interview with talkSPORT, and labelled him ‘outstanding’, on the one condition that the opposition allow him to play.
The 24-year-old has produced impressive numbers once again for Mauricio Pochettino’s men this season, scoring five goals and registering seven assists in 19 Premier League outings so far this term.

He has, however, been criticised by some sections of the Spurs support for his failure to have a defining influence on big games.
That notion was firmly put to bed last night though, with his dominating display culminating with his assists for both of Dele Alli’s goals.
And Friedel, who made 67appearances for the Lilywhites during a four year spell with the club, offered his opinion on the Dane’s performances so far this season, highlighting his display against the Blues as particularly impressive, when speaking to talkSPORT:
Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen
“I thought Christian Eriksen was very good against Chelsea and if you don’t pressure him and make him hurry his passes, then he is outstanding.”
The challenge for Eriksen now will be to keep up those levels of performance against the big clubs, and if he can do that, Tottenham have every chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
