Luke Freeman looked a class above as Queens Park Rangers beat Bolton 2-1 at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Luke Freeman is widely considered as one of Queens Park Rangers’ best players and the attacking midfielder’s performance against Bolton Wanderers highlights exactly why.
Freeman broke the deadlock after 26 minutes with a well taken goal, and assisted Ebere Eze for the second in what was an all-action display.
The former Bristol City man looked dangerous on the ball and proved to be a thorn in the Trotters’ defence, offering glimpses of his form from last season.
Earlier this summer, Freeman was interesting a whole host of Championship sides, but QPR remained firm and rebuffed all offers.

According to reports from the Daily Mirror (July 29th, live blog, 21:35), Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion were all keen on capturing Freeman but with no success.
Blackburn Rovers declared a late interest but, as reported by Sky Sports’ live blog (Thursday 9th August, 13:23.), Freeman was not going to be leaving Loftus Road.

The 26-year-old is beginning to hit form at the right time and his performance on Saturday will offer plenty of encouragement to R’s fans.
It is likely there will be a time for Freeman to move on but, until then, QPR boss Steve McClaren must continue to get the best out of the former Arsenal trainee.
