Gray spent a decade at Ibrox before his release by the Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, this summer.

The freed Rangers left-back Scott Gray has all but confirmed his next destination after leaving Ibrox.
Gray was one of several youngsters released by Rangers at the end of last season, after a decade on the Scottish giants’ books.
Shortly afterwards, the teenager’s Ibrox teammate, Dapo Mebude, appeared to let slip that Gray was bound for the United States, wishing him the “best of luck in America” on Instagram.
And that looks even more likely after Gray posted the following story update on Wednesday:
Gray failed to make a single appearance for Rangers’ first team, and spent the second half of last season on loan to East Stirling.
Last week, another of Rangers’ released youngsters, the central midfielder, Liam Burt, filmed himself driving into Celtic’s training ground.

It was later reported, The Scottish Sun, that Burt is training with Rangers’ Glasgow rivals ahead of a possible return to the club he left for Ibrox in 2014.
