Anichebe describes Leeds as ‘massive club’.

Leeds United got their season off to a fantastic start with a 3-1 win over Stoke City.
Kemar Roofe led the line up front for the Whites and helped Marcelo Bielsa record his first win as manager.
He was congratulated on his performance by former Everton and Sunderland striker Victor Anichebe, who sent him a message on Instagram.
Anichebe wrote to Roofe: “Quality performance bro! Really hope y’all continue and go up..massive club would be good to seem them back in the Prem!”

Anichebe is currently a free agent, most recently playing in China for Beijing Enterprises.
Just 30-years-old, he last played in England in 2016/17 for Sunderland under David Moyes.
In past seasons a player like Anichebe hailing a club like Leeds may have brought a clamour among fans to get him signed up, but right now their squad looks so strong they probably would not need him.
As well as Kemar Roofe, Leeds have new signing Patrick Roberts and Tyler Roberts available up front, both who were on the bench against Stoke.
