Should Leeds United take an interest in Peter Odemwingie?

Free agents are thin on the ground in mid-February, making it tough for teams to add quality outside of the transfer window at a crucial time of year.
Robbie Keane is the player everybody wants yet he is still to make a decision on his future, while another high profile addition has recently hit the market, Peter Odemwingie.
The former Nigeria international was released by Rotherham United at the end of the transfer window and is looking for a new club.
After a guest appearance on Talksport last night Odemwingie’s situation drew further attention, and the veteran subsequently ‘liked’ a tweet from a Leeds United supporter urging him to sign for the club.

Leeds struck out in their attempts to sign a striker in the transfer window, and have won only one of three matches in February.
Odemwingie would not be required to replace Chris Wood, simply to compete with Marcus Antonsson for a back-up striker spot.
What remains to be seen is if Odemwingie, 35, has enough left in the tank, after failing to make an impact for Rotherham in January when his contract expired.
Odemwingie’s most ‘memorable’ moment in a Rotherham shirt was a red card against Leeds in November, and this might be a deterrent as far as Garry Monk is concerned.
