Ex-Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley is currently without a club.

Midfielder Joe Ledley has told Open Goal that he would ‘love’ a return to Celtic as he awaits a return to the game.
Ledley, 32, finds himself as a free agent having been released by Derby County in January, having made just four appearances under Frank Lampard.
With no playing time since August, it’s no great surprise that Ledley has moved on, and it remains to be seen whether he finds a new club before the end of the season.
Celtic fans may love to have Ledley back at the club given some injury issues in their engine room, and the Welshman has been asked about possibly heading back to Parkhead.
Ledley has told Open Goal that he would love to go back and could never say no to Celtic, but noted that things had changed from his time at the club.
“Obviously I would love to go back, but it’s all change now,” said Ledley. “New manager, new staff, so it’s all change, but you’d never say no to a club like that – I had a fantastic time there,” he added.

Intriguingly though, this episode of Open Goal appears to have been filmed before Brendan Rodgers left the club for Leicester – and that means his concern about a new regime may no longer exist.
It was now-Celtic interim boss Neil Lennon who signed Ledley from Cardiff City in 2010, giving the midfielder 157 appearances, in which he hit 30 goals.
Now available for free, Ledley could be a smart addition to the Celtic side, and a reunion with Lennon would surely be appealing, with Ledley’s situation potentially taking a surprise twist, having thought there was little chance under Rodgers…but there’s at least a glimmer of hope now Lennon is in charge.
