Former Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd has told the Daily Star he wants to see the club starting to think like a big club again.
There was an air of despondency at St James Park last season as they were relegated to the Championship following a dismal campaign.
The second tier has proved to be much kinder to them, though, with them currently in the midst of a four-game winning streak.

Rafa Benitez has been credited with masterminding the turnaround after he was allowed to overhaul the entire club this summer.
And Shepherd is hoping that the club is now marching on once again, saying it is time to start thinking like a big club.
“There have been times when I’ve been in despair – so has everybody,” he told the Daily Star.
“But let’s hope we’ve broken through that wall and are marching on again. This has always been a big club. I want to believe it is thinking like a big club once again.”

The Magpies must now continue their fine form when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.
They could move top of the table with a victory at St James Park, so long as surprise leaders, Huddersfield Town lose to Queens Park Rangers.
They have a good chance of doing so, with their last defeat against Wolves in the league coming all the way back in 1993.
