Pochettino continues to be linked with a move away from Spurs, with Manchester United the likeliest option.

Freddy Kanoute has told Fox Sports that he believes Mauricio Pochettino will continue to be the subject of interest as he continues his excellent work as Tottenham Hotspur manager.
Spurs have opted against signing any new players for the past two transfer windows, but they remain in the last 16 of the Champions League and are only five points behind both Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League.
A lot of that work is down to Argentine boss Pochettino, who continues to bring the best out of his players. Even with an extensive injury list that includes Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose, Spurs remain in excellent form.
Former Spurs striker Kanoute believes Pochettino – who has been linked with Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid during his Tottenham spell – will continue to be on the shortlist of Europe’s biggest clubs while at Spurs.
“I think he’s a very good manager,” Kanoute said. “I follow a bit of the press and what people say about him in England, and everybody likes this coach because he’s very quiet and doesn’t make a lot of noise, but he’s working very seriously.
“His team has been very consistent in the last few years and I think everybody sees he’s got a plan and a methodology to work with. And yes, I know he’s going to be a big prospect for many, many clubs in the coming months and years.”

Pochettino signed a new contract with Spurs that sees him earn a whopping £163,000 a week at Tottenham, according to the Guardian – or £8.5million a year. That deal will see him remain until the summer of 2023.
However, his future hangs in the balance given that Manchester United are yet to appoint a permanent manager with many believing it is between either Pochettino or current caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Kanoute played for Spurs 73 times between 2003 and 2005, and clocked up 21 goals. His goalscoring was just as important as his ability to bring others into the game.
