Some Arsenal and Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Freddie Woodman against West Ham United today.
What’s the story?
Reported Arsenal target Woodman was in action for Newcastle against West Ham at St. James’ Park today.
It was the 24-year-old English goalkeeper’s Premier League debut.
The former Swansea City goalkeeper got the chance due to Martin Dubravka being injured and Karl Darlow still recovering from illness.
Arsenal interest
The Chronicle have reported that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could now turn his attention to Newcastle goalkeeper Woodman.
The Gunners want to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United, but they are unable to agree a transfer fee with the Blades.
Arsenal actually discussed a swap deal for Joe Willock with Newcastle earlier this summer, before the midfielder completed a move to the Magpies on a permanent contract on Friday.

What are Arsenal and Newcastle fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal and Newcastle fans were impressed by the display produced by Woodman against West Ham.
Well, some of them anyway.
Woodman did concede four goals, as Newcastle lost 4-2, but there was nothing much that he could do about them.
The Englishman actually saved Michail Antonio’s penalty, but Tomas Soucek scored from the rebound.
