Fraser Forster was with Celtic between 2012 and 2014, before leaving the Glasgow side to move to Southampton.
Fraser Forster’s comments about Celtic to the Daily Mail should encourage more players to sign for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Forster joined Celtic from Newcastle United in 2012, and went on to have a highly impressive time at Celtic Park.
In the end, his form earned him a move to Southampton three years ago.

But he still looks back upon his time at Celtic as a special one, as he was playing Champions League football.
“Looking back, I got to play Champions League football at Celtic. To play in competitions like that is something a bit special,” Forster said.
“That’s definitely what every player strives for, to play in those games week in and week out, to play Champions League football. That’s the ambition that not only I but every player in football has.”
Forster, of course, has gone on to be extremely successful since leaving Celtic – and now is regular in the England squad, as well as a leading goalkeeper in the Premier League.

And for him to suggest that he still reminisces about his time at Celtic, shows the opportunity which a move to the Glasgow club can present.
There is a clamour to join the limelight of the Premier League in modern day football, such is the massive global following England’s top league has.
But Rodgers is creating something very special at Celtic – and with Forster’s comments only adding to Scott Sinclair’s and Patrick Robert’s encouraging words about a move to Glasgow, it could be that more and more players are tempted with a move north of the border in the coming years.
