Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster has told The Scottish Sun that Mohamed Elyounoussi is a good signing for the club.

Celtic signed Elyounoussi on loan from Premier League club Southampton in the summer transfer window.

The Hoops also secured the services of 31-year-old goalkeeper Forster on loan from the Saints this summer.

Forster – who earns £70,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – played with Elyounoussi at St. Mary’s Stadium last season, and he believes that the 25-year-old – who can operate as a forward or as a winger – is a very good signing for the Bhoys.

Forster told The Scottish Sun about Elyounoussi: “It’s a fantastic signing. Mo has been unfortunate in the last year, but he has done well at his previous clubs.”

Good signing for Celtic

Elyounoussi has struggled to make an impact at Southampton since his move from Basel in 2018, but there is no doubt that the Norway international attacker is a very good player.

The former Molde star can create chances and score goals, and he should be able to establish himself as a key figure in Neil Lennon’s side in a few weeks’ time.
