Southampton won against Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Sparta Prague on Thursday evening.
The Saints kicked off their 2016-17 Europa League campaign with a 3-0 victory over Sparta at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Charlie Austin put the Premier League outfit in the lead in the fifth minute from the penalty spot and doubled the advantage on 27 minutes. Jay Rodriguez made it 3-0 for the Saints in the second minute of injury time.

Southampton goalkeeper Forster has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the victory, and so has defensive midfielder Oriol Romeu.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Mary’s Stadium, hosts Southampton had 54% of the possession, took 13 shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Sparta had 46% of the possession, took six shots of which only one was on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
Southampton will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Swansea City at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.
