Glasgow Rangers and Donald Trump subject of Scottish comedian’s joke… but Pedro Caixinha may not be laughing.

Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle has joked that US President Donald Trump is a Rangers supporter.

CNN reported last night how North Korea and the USA were moving towards the brink of nuclear war as relations hit an all time low between the countries.

Trump had exacerbated the situation via Twitter.

Outspoken comedian Boyle joked that Trump is keen for the end of the world as he won’t be able to bear another embarrassing season for Rangers – citing their pre-season form.

Rangers won their first game of the season last weekend against Motherwell, making Boyle’s reference a little dated.

But it is clear the shadow of their embarrassing Europa League defeat to Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn still looms large.

Rangers became a laughing stock that night, and an away win at Fir Park won’t be enough to put that right just yet.
