Frank Warren isn’t buying into the hype surrounding two rival promoters who are now talking about fighting each other.
Eddie Hearn and Dana White have gone from friendly to openly hostile, with both men now talking about settling their differences in the ring. That’s despite a seven-inch height gap, Hearn being 46, and White 56.
But Warren has no interest in adding to the noise. He says promoters should be focused on organising great matchups instead of putting themselves in the spotlight.
Frank Warren unbothered by Eddie Hearn and Dana White’s boxing talks

Dana White’s offhand remark during a recent interview with Piers Morgan has turned into a serious conversation about a potential fight with Eddie Hearn, despite the fact that they are both well past their fighting prime.
While some fans seem to be taking the idea seriously, Frank Warren isn’t one of them. The veteran promoter made it clear he has little interest in the matchup.
Following Anthony Cacace’s world title win over Jazza Dickens at the 3Arena in Dublin, Warren spoke to Bloody Elbow and explained why he’s focused on real fights between actual athletes, not promotional sideshows.
“Who cares?” he said when asked about his two rivals stepping into the ring. “I’m in the business of selling tickets for fights that people want to see, sellout shows. People might want to see that, I don’t know.
“Good luck to them if they want to go and do that, we’ll keep doing what we’re doing and building careers of guys who actually are young enough to fight and are professional athletes and professional boxers.”
White does have some combat sports experience – he’s trained in boxing and jiu-jitsu and even once weighed in for an exhibition against Tito Ortiz. Hearn, meanwhile, says he boxed under a pseudonym when he was younger, though there isn’t much record of those bouts.
