Newport County striker Frank Nouble played with Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier at Barnsley and was impressed with his performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Former West Ham United striker Frank Nouble has praised Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier on social networking site Twitter.
Nouble, who is on the books of League Two club Newport County at the moment, was impressed with the performance of Trippier for Tottenham against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The 27-year-old England international right-back played well against the defending European champions, as Spurs won 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium in London.
Nouble played with Trippier at Barnsley, and the 26-year-old striker has described the Spurs star as a “postman” for always delivering.

Trippier has been playing well for Tottenham this season and is flourishing in the absence of Kyle Walker, who joined Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Spurs are challenging for the Premier League title this season, and will also be looking to progress as far as possible in the Champions League after already booked their place in the last-16 stage.
